Tonight... Oh. My. God. Tonight was so much fun. Yuana is so awesome. Got a much needed dose of estrogen and she and I turned down a plethora of men, many VERY cute-- giving us a power-seat. Felt damn good.

Best was us not realizing this guy was trying to put English into his Japanese, so it sounded like he was babbling instead of speaking Japanese... When we were like "SAAA???" And he repeated it slower. Replacing random English words that AREN'T used in Japanese and putting them into your sentences is none too bright, boys.

OR! When we said we "didn't understand" to a guy try and send him off (even though we were just talking to girls in his general area in Japanese like moments before as the girls were saying we should work at their 'bar') and heard a reply of "IT OKAY, I CAN SAY ENGLISH. YOU HEAR MY ENGLISH?? YOU CAN UNDERSTAND? YOU ARE UNDERSTAND?"

Oh lordy, lordy. Kabukicho is actually fun when you have an accomplice.

Product Review~!

ViVian circle lens.
http://vivian-s.jp

Essentially, lately I've seen ads for these circle lens EVERYWHERE here in Japan. Most recently, in the December issue of Ageha. As I lost my favorite pair of circle lens (Geo Barbie Black), I figured I'd give these a shot-- they quote a lower price than most and in a coupon book I actually found a coupon for a free kirakira (gemmed the fuck out ;DDD) contact case, which they normally charge 1500JPY for.

I JUST ordered them 2 days ago, and they arrived this evening.

Anyway. I really like them. I ordered Natural Black. I prefer a subtle change from circle lens, and a black ring makes my dark hazel eyes appear much greener in person / good quality photos. However, they have many colors, and a couple of different lines so my guess is they're all just as good quality and they've got a lens for everyone's tastes~.

Anyway, despite being the stereotypical 15.5mm diameter most circle lens are, they definitely give the appearance of the newer 16mm circle lens in actual effect. Something that really impressed me. Also, everything was packaged incredibly neatly. Plus 1980JPY is really cheap. Granted they're currently on sale (originally 3980JPY), but still. Also-- high water content and a very comfortable wear. Once they were in, I couldn't even feel that they were there. Another upside, especially for those who have long nails, is the case came with a lens applicator tool.

Breakdown
PROS
-Inexpensive
-Wide selection
-Obvious effect
-Comfortable
-Coupons available

CONS
-The site's only payment method is cash on delivery, inconvenient for those in Japan who want to pay by card or bank account and IMPOSSIBLE for those outside of Japan without a PERSONAL shopping service (EXCEPT for Canadian customers, from whom I assume they likely accept alternate payment methods. Yes, Canadians, they accept your orders! ;D)
-I ordered a pink LEOPARD kirakira case, not pink ZEBRA… but it was free with the coupon so I shouldn't complain.

On to the results~ )

STILL waiting on Halloween photos. I only have the ones I personally took, none of which I'm in. Lame.

Anyway... Nothing too interesting as of yet other than plans upcoming...
Sunday I'll likely see Sonny (FINALLY. He's so busy with school so I get to see him once in a while tops)
Monday or Tuesday I'll be chilling with Natalia and buying some winter clothes and taking puri like fagz
Wednesday I'm supposed to meet up with Ken, but he'll be coming out from Kawasaki if we do so I'm not sure.

Oh... and yesterday, on the way to go pay my rent, I was attacked with kisses by the CUTEST pomeranian puppy. For whatever reason, when I walked past and exclaimed how cute he was, a perfectly calm puppy choked itself on it's leash just to come say "hi" to me. I want a puppy so bad, blah.
